Ciarra Scheirer Named Chief Operating Officer of Spring Logistics
Leading operations, strategic growth and process optimization across business segments

Auburn, Ala. (March 17, 2026) – Spring Logistics, the in-house logistics partner that provides brokerage services for Young’s Plant Farm in Auburn, Ala., has promoted Ciarra Scheirer to Chief Operating Officer. Scheirer has been advancing within the company since 2016 and has played multiple, impactful roles related to strategic growth, operations and process optimization.
Scheirer most recently served as the Logistics, HR and Administrative Manager for Spring Logistics and its Auburn-based sister companies, PTP Transport and LG1961 Leasing. Her role primarily involved coordinating transportation operations and overall operations for the three businesses, including safety, compliance, equipment and staff.
“From the beginning, my time at Spring Logistics has focused on helping our companies grow, improve and operate proactively instead of reactively,” said Scheirer. “In the nearly 10 years I have worked here, I have touched nearly all elements of the companies and have grown alongside them, so I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to step into the role of COO and continue advancing our missions.”
During her tenure at Spring Logistics, Scheirer has focused on honing processes and investing in productive systems to advance the business from seasonal cycles to consistent year-round growth, evolving beyond the standard spring and summer seasonality associated with plants. While Young’s Plant Farm is Spring Logistics’ primary customer, the company has been expanding to work with additional regional customers.
“In the coming year we plan to bring our operations to a new location in the Auburn area, and we are looking forward to being in a new, larger office space that will accommodate our growing staff,” said Scheirer. “We have a great cross-functioning team in place across the businesses, in which everyone performs their jobs well but are also trained to fill in across multiple operating areas when needed.”
Scheirer brings robust experience to the position, both from her tenure at Spring Logistics and her previous roles in state social services, loss prevention and safety management. She credits her B.A. in psychology and various work experiences with developing the people and project management skills necessary to successfully step into the COO position.
Spring Logistics is currently recruiting carrier partners that have 5-66 tractors in their fleet and are located within 150 miles of its Auburn, Ala. headquarters. Carriers deliver in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee and Eastern Texas.
