National Logistics Day is observed on June 28 and highlights the importance of the logistics industry in both our national and global economy. So, what exactly is logistics? Logistics is the overall process of managing many resources in the supply chain including packaging, warehouse shipping, manufacturing and delivery. It is the process of moving goods from one location to another, and without it, the world would look very different. PTP Transport is proud to play a crucial part in this pivotal industry.

PTP’s trusted drivers drove 1,132,720 miles in 2023. That is more than 40% more miles than the previous year. PTP also delivered goods from Texas to North Dakota, over to Maine and everything in between. PTP Transport has a long history of providing quality transportation services. Although PTP serves as an in-house carrier Young’s Plant Farm they also opened to for-hire public freight needs in 2017.
